Traditional Uses

Actions: cleanses toxic heat, controls dampness, purges fire, removes toxin, has diuretic, hypotensive, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antipyretic and tranquilizing effects and effect on gallbladder.

 

Applications: All febrile diseases, jaundice, dysentery, gastroenteritis, water retention, furuncle, carbuncle, inflammation, feeling of fullness in the chest, hypochondria, loss of appetite, vomiting, headache due to hypertension, insomnia, and hypertension. It is used to treat lung cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, and other forms of noxious heat in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
