Actions: Has expectorant effect, benefits stomach, regulates the flow of qi or chi, controls pain, increases appetite, and dispels cold.

Applications: abdominal distention, vomiting, diarrhea, hernia, and abdominal pain. It is usually used in the treatment of stomach cancer in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
