Traditional Uses


Actions: Has stomachic and antiemetic, and hypertensive effects; reinvigorates yang, nourishes lungs, and resolves phlegm.

 

Applications: Vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, cold limbs, minute pulse, and cough due to retention of cold; rheumatic pain due to cold and moisture.

 It is traditionally used to treat digestion related cancers.
